While making a campaign live, we need to keep in mind so many things to achieve the desired output. Though no matter how careful we are, we still sometimes keep getting errors because of tiny mistakes.

So here is a list of some most common errors and their possible solutions-


1-PUBLISHER_NOT_ACTIVE

Reason- The publisher you have added to the campaign is not active. 

Solution-  

1-Go to the "Publishers" icon in the side menu.

2- Click on the "Manage" option.

3- Change the status of the Publisher from "Pending" to "Active"


2-INVALID_PUBLISHER_ID

Reason- The publisher has changed the publisher id in the tracking link.

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign

2- Generate the tracking link for the publisher.

3- Check the publisher id given in the tracking link.

4- Ask the Publisher to use the same "publisher id" in the tracking link.


3-INVALID_OFFER_ID

Reason- Publisher has changed the offer id in the tracking link.

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign

2- Generate the tracking link for the publisher

3- Check the offer id given in the tracking link.

4- Ask the Publisher to use the same "offer id" in the tracking link.


4-OFFER_NOT_ACTIVE-

Reason- Campaign is either is paused or disabled.

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign

2- Go to the edit option

3- Change the status of the campaign to " Active"


5-INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION-

Reason- Publisher does not have the permission to run the campaign

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign

2- Go to the publisher access section.

3- Select the Publisher you want to add to the campaign.

4- Save the changes.


6-LP_PAUSED_OR_TARGETING 

Landing page targeting mismatch/lp page inactive/invalid LP ID.

Reason- There can be multiple reasons for this error-

1- Landing Page and Targeting are mismatched.

2- Landing Page is inactive.

3- Landing Page id is invalid

Solution- 

1- Check the targeting settings to find the landing page mismatch.

2- Check if the landing page is active or not.


7-LINK_DISABLED-

Reason- The campaign has reached the limit of the "Cap"

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign.

2- Go to the "Settings" option.

3- Click on the "Cap" option.

4- Either change the limit of the Cap or delete the cap 


8-ADV_INACTIVE-

Reason- The Advertiser you have added to the campaign is not active. 

Solution-  

1-Go to the "Advertiser" icon in the side menu.

2- Click on the "Manage" option.

3- Change the status of the "Advertiser" from " Pending" to "Active"


9-PUB_BLOCKED_ON_ADV-

ReasonPublisher is blocked on the respective Advertiser.

Solution- 

1- Go to the "Advertiser" tab

2-Click on "Manage" 

3- Go to the respective advertiser 

4- Click on "Settings" 

5- Unblock Publisher.


10-ADV_NOT_WHITELISTED_ON_PUB-

Reason- Advertiser is not being whitelisted on the publisher

Solution- 

1- Go to the "Publisher" tab.

2-Click on "Manage"  

3- Go to the respective publisher 

4- Click on "Settings" 

5- Allow advertiser for the publisher


11-TARGETING_FAILED-

Reason- There is some issue with the Targeting rules added to the campaign.

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign

2- Go to the "Targeting" option

3- Check the existing Targeting Rules or delete the Targeting rule.


12-CAMP_IS_PAUSED

Reason- Campaign is either is paused or disabled.

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign

2- Go to the edit option

3- Change the status of the campaign to " Active"


13-CAP_REACHED

Reason- The campaign has reached the limit of the "Cap"

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign.

2- Go to the "Settings" option.

3- Click on the "Cap" option.

4- Either change the limit of the Cap or delete the cap 


14-AD_NOT_ACTIVE_IN_THIS_HOUR- 

Reason-  The advertiser is not active in a particular hour.

Solution- Ask the advertiser to change his settings.


15-PUB_BLOCKED_ON_CAMP --> publisher blocked on this campaign

Reason- The campaign has reached the limit of the "Cap"

Solution- 

1- Go to the campaign.

2- Go to the "Settings" option.

3- Click on the "Block Publisher" option.

4- Remove the Publisher from the blocked list.
