At a Glance: This article gives you a brief description of the Direct Linking feature, guiding you through its setup and usage on the panel.
Overview
Direct Link is a feature that improves the user experience by sending users directly to the landing page without any redirects. This is useful in digital marketing, as it helps to increase conversion rates, improve brand visibility, and make tracking easier.
When the Direct Link feature is enabled, users are taken straight to the brand's landing page as soon as they click the link, eliminating unnecessary redirects. This process ensures users reach their destination faster, reduces load times, and offers a smoother, more efficient experience overall.
Benefits of using Direct Link
Improved User Experience:
By removing redirects, Direct Link ensures faster access to the landing page and increases the chances of completing desired actions like purchases or sign-ups. The domain also matches the brand’s website, building trust and improving brand recognition.
Simplified Tracking:
This feature simplifies tracking by offering a clear, straightforward URL, reducing tracking errors, and making it easier for both advertisers and affiliates to monitor campaign performance.
Building Brand Trust:
Since the domain matches the brand’s website, users feel more confident in engaging with the brand, boosting conversion rates and ensuring higher trust in the campaign.
Use Case: A publisher promoting a fashion brand can use Direct Link to send users directly to the brand’s product page. This improves the user experience, boosts trust, and increases conversions, as users feel more confident when they see the brand’s domain.

Condition for Using this Feature
If a campaign URL is shared directly with you by the brand, the direct link feature will function as expected. However, if the brand provides the URL to a third party and you try to apply the direct link feature to that third-party URL, it will work only if the advertiser has enabled the direct link on their panel.
Example :
If Mcaffeine directly provides you with the URL https://www.mcaffeine.com/special-offer, the direct link feature will work.
However, if Mcaffeine gives the URL to an affiliate network, like https://www.affiliate.com/redirect?url=https://www.nike.com/special-offer
If the affiliate network hasn’t enabled the direct link feature on their panel and instead passes you this URL, the direct link feature won’t work on Trackier. This is because the URL may include extra layers of redirection or tracking, which interfere with the direct link functionality.
Direct Link on Shopify
If you are running the campaign on Shopify, make sure to add the direct link code within the Shopify platform.
To add the direct link code, go to the Trackier panel, click on Automation, then select Integrations under Ecommerce. Next, click Shopify Setup, check the Direct Linking Code box, copy the code, and paste it into the Shopify panel. For more details on how to use Shopify, click here.
Note:
1. This feature is only available for campaigns based on pixels, not for those created via postback.
2. This feature works for URLs provided directly by the brand, not by third-party networks. However, if you want the URL to function correctly while provided by a third party, simply ask your advertiser to enable the direct link feature on their panel.
