Overview
Trackier allows you to fully white-label your platform experience beyond just the tracking link. By customizing your tracking domain, login page domain, postback domain, and API domain, you can present a consistent branded experience to both your team and your partners, without exposing Trackier's default infrastructure.
Why White-Label Domains??
Reinforce your brand across every partner-facing touchpoint
Prevent partners from identifying the third-party tools you use
Create a consistent experience across login, tracking, and API interactions.
Build trust with advertisers and technical partners during integrations.
What Domains You Can White-Label
Login Page Domain: The URL your partners and team members use to access the platform. Replacing the default with your own domain keeps your brand front and centre from the moment someone logs in.
Tracking Link Domain: The domain embedded in your partner tracking links. White-labeling this replaces Trackier's default domain with your own, keeping your brand visible every time a tracking link is shared or clicked.
Postback Domain: The domain used in server-to-server postback URLs for conversion tracking. White-labeling this ensures your postback calls reflect your brand rather than Trackier's default domain.
API Domain: The base URL used for API calls and integrations. Customizing this is particularly relevant if you have technical partners or internal teams connecting to Trackier via API.
Steps to Follow
Follow the steps below to white-label your login and postback domains.
Step 1: Purchase a Domain
Get a domain from any domain provider of your choice (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare). Once your domain is purchased, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Set Up a CNAME Record
Log in to your domain provider and navigate to the DNS settings. From there, add a CNAME record using the value copied from your Trackier panel.
To find your CNAME value in Trackier:
Go to Customize in your Trackier panel
Select Domain
Choose the domain type you want to configure: Login, Postback, or API
Copy the CNAME value displayed and paste it into your domain provider's DNS settings.
Note: CNAME propagation can take up to 24–48 hours, depending on your domain provider. Make sure the record is saved correctly before testing.
Add a CNAME record in the DNS settings of the domain provider from which you purchased it.
Type | Host | Points to | Custom Domain |
Login page | trk | demo.trackier.com | trk.mydomain.com |
Postback | abc | demo.trackier.co | abc.mydomain.com |
API | xyz | api.trackier.com | xyz.mydomain.com |
Example of GoDaddy DNS Setting:
Type: Select CNAME
Host: You can use any value; it will act as a subdomain to your main domain, like trk, xyz, tracking, etc.
Point to: Here, you need to add the CNAME value you get from the Trackier platform.
TTL: In what time the record gets appended, you can use 1 Hour.
To check if the DNS record is appended correctly, go to DNS record check, and if you get Check in all regions, you can move on to the next step.
Note:
Step 3: Set Up Your SSL Certificate
An SSL certificate is required to ensure your white-labeled domains run securely over HTTPS. Trackier handles this in two ways, depending on how your domain is managed:
If your domain is on Cloudflare, SSL is automatically provisioned. No additional action is needed on your end.
If your domain is with any other provider, you can contact Trackier Support to get your SSL certificate generated.
Step 4: Make changes in the panel
If you want to add a custom login box, you can enable the button and add the login URL.
Request SSL and domain custom settings
Request for SSL on the new tracking domain on Trackier Support.
Add the new custom tracking domain in Trackier by using your custom domain in the given space and hitting the save button at the bottom.
Best Practices for DNS Configuration
When setting up CNAME records with your domain provider, keep the following in mind:
Ensure the host values (e.g., trk, abc, xyz) are unique and do not conflict with any existing DNS records.
Allow sufficient time for DNS propagation — most changes go live within an hour, but it can take up to 24–48 hours in some cases.
Once the records are active, confirm that SSL is properly applied. A missing or expired SSL certificate will trigger browser security warnings for your users.
Keep a log of all DNS changes made so they can be referenced if issues come up later.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
If your white-label domain is not resolving correctly, check for the following:
The DNS record has not fully propagated yet.
The CNAME record was added at the wrong domain level.
The host field was entered incorrectly, causing a mismatch.
SSL was not requested or has not been applied yet.
To diagnose the issue, review your DNS settings carefully and use a DNS checker tool to confirm whether your records are live. If the problem persists, contact Trackier Support for assistance.
