Overview
Trackier lets you customise your reports by adding columns that show data based on the formulas you create.
This feature allows you to make reports that meet your exact needs by using custom calculations that you can get from existing data fields. Instead of relying only on default report fields, you can create your own calculated metrics based on your business requirements.
Example:
If you want to calculate the total number of conversions by combining approved and pending conversions, you can create a formula like the following:
Approved Conversion + Pending Conversions.
This helps you create more meaningful and insightful reports, making data analysis easier and more flexible according to your business needs.
Note:
This feature is accessible only for campaign reports, publisher reports, advertiser reports, daily reports, goal reports, hourly reports, smart link reports, manager reports, OS reports, and custom reports.
Why Use Custom Columns
Custom columns help you:
Create reports based on your business needs
Perform calculations directly within reports
Save time by avoiding manual calculations
Analyze performance more effectively
Build custom KPIs and metrics
Adding a custom column
To add your customised column, you can navigate to the reports section on your panel and click on the "x²" button as shown in the screenshot attached below.
A pop-up window titled “Add Formula” will appear, where you can set up your custom formula settings.
From here, you can select "add formula", and a box for adding your custom formula will pop up, where you need to fill in the information accordingly:
Name: The name you want to give to your custom column.
Expression: Here, you can enter the formula that will determine how the custom column displays the data.
In the screenshot below, we have first selected "approved conversion", followed by the "+" operator, and then "pending conversion".
Show currency: You can turn this toggle on/off if you want to see the currency in which the field is calculated.
Show comma-separated. If you want to display the numbers in your customised column with or without a comma.
Once you have set up your data, click the "Add" button to apply your changes. This will update the reports, adding your custom column and displaying the data according to your specified formula.
You can also add more than one customised column in your report.
Best Practices
Use custom columns for frequently used calculations to reduce manual work.
Keep formulas simple and easy to understand.
Standardise naming conventions for better team collaboration.
Regularly review formulas to ensure reporting accuracy.
Use custom KPIs to improve campaign performance analysis.
Note:
You can use only the provided options in your formula.
Custom columns only affect report display and analysis.
Changes do not modify actual tracking data.
