Step-by-Step Guide to Tracking Multiple Conversions

This feature allows you to track and measure multiple conversions for your campaigns, giving you a more comprehensive understanding of your performance.

Overview

Tracking multiple conversions means that our system is able to identify and record multiple actions or interactions made by a customer on our platform. This can include purchases, sign-ups, clicks, or any other desired actions. By tracking these conversions, we are able to gain a better understanding of our customers behaviour and how they engage with our platform, which helps us make informed decisions about how to improve our services and user experience.

In Trackier, multiple conversions tracking means the ability to record more than one conversion event using the same click ID from a single user journey.

Instead of tracking only one action (like a sale), you can track multiple actions such as:

  • lead form submission

  • sign-ups

  • purchases

  • app installs

  • secondary events (upsells, bookings, etc.)

What is it used for?

This feature is used when a single user performs multiple valuable actions in a funnel.

Example:

  • User clicks an ad

  • Submits a lead form (Conversion 1)

  • Later makes a purchase (Conversion 2)

  • Then upgrades plan (Conversion 3)

All of these can be tracked under the same click session.

Options available for the tracking of multiple conversions:

Tracking options explained

1. Yes

  • Every conversion with same click ID is recorded separately
✔ Best for full multi-event tracking

2. Yes with Txn ID (Recommended default)

  • Uses transaction ID + click ID

  • Prevents duplicate counting

  • Most accurate method for e-commerce / structured flows

Note: Having a transaction id in this parameter (txn_id) is not mandatory. Your advertiser can also provide the timestamp or user ID, if necessary.

3. No (same click ID, different txn ID)

  • Treats multiple conversions as single if logic overlaps

  • Used in specific setups (like gaming funnels)

4. No (same txn ID)

  • If txn ID is same, only one conversion is counted

  • Prevents duplication in repeated requests

Note: Both the options of "No (with same click ID different txn ID)" and "No (with same txn ID)" are majorly utilized by clients in the igaming industry.

Where else it applies

This setting is not only at campaign level but also:

  • Goal configuration level

  • Conversion tracking setup during campaign creation

Both must match for accurate tracking.

Note : The 'Track Multiple Conversions' feature is also included when creating a goal. To ensure accurate tracking, the configuration in both the campaign and the created goal should be identical.

Conclusion

Multiple conversion tracking in Trackier allows you to capture the full user journey instead of just a single action, giving a more accurate view of campaign performance.

In simple terms:

It enables Trackier to record every meaningful step a user takes after a click, not just the final conversion.
