Overview
The Advertiser Budget Capping Module is a powerful tool that allows advertisers to set a maximum budget for their campaigns. This ensures that their advertising costs do not exceed a certain amount, providing them with better control over their spending.
With this module, advertisers can easily set a budget for their campaigns. Once the set budget is reached, hitting the tracking link displays an error of wallet balance exhausted, preventing any additional costs from being incurred.
This feature is especially useful for advertisers who have a strict budget or want to test the effectiveness of their campaigns without overspending. It also helps prevent any unexpected charges on their account.
Why Use the Advertiser Budget Capping Module?
Helps advertisers maintain strict control over campaign expenses.
Prevents overspending and protects against unexpected advertising costs.
Ideal for trial campaigns, limited-time promotions, and budget-sensitive advertisers.
Ensures better allocation of marketing budgets across multiple campaigns.
Improves operational efficiency by automatically restricting traffic once the allocated balance is consumed.
Enhances advertiser trust by providing transparency in spend tracking and wallet usage.
Note: The data is updated daily at 11:59 PM, as the Trackier panel refreshes it at that time.
Example:
If a campaign budget gets depleted at 10:00 AM, the campaign will continue running throughout the day and will not pause or expire immediately. The campaign will only stop after the panel refresh at 11:59 PM.
This means:
Campaign traffic may continue even after the wallet balance reaches zero during the day.
The campaign remains active throughout the day, even if the budget is exhausted earlier. The pause or expiration of the campaign will only take effect once the data update occurs at 11:59 PM.
Advertisers should keep buffer amounts in mind to avoid unwanted traffic continuation.
Where can I find the Advertiser Budget Capping Module (Wallet) tool?
To set a budget for a specific advertiser, first click on the "Advertiser" tab, then choose the "Manage" option. From there, select the desired advertiser and navigate to the "Settings" tab. Click on the "Edit" option and go to the "Wallet" section to set the budget.
Setup Advertiser Budget Capping Module (Wallet) Rule
Add Credit Amount: You can input the desired credit amount for the advertiser here.
Selected Transaction Type: You can choose the transaction type from the dropdown menu, which is limited to credit transactions only.
Selected Currency: You have the option to choose the credit currency for the advertiser.
Selected Status: This option offers three statuses for this rule: active, inactive, and exhausted. An active status indicates that the wallet will only be active if the balance is greater than zero. If the balance is zero, the wallet will be considered inactive or exhausted.
Selected KPIs: You have the option to choose from the available KPIs in the dropdown menu.
Once all the fields have been filled, remember to click the update button.
Note: There is a section called "See Transaction" located after the wallet balance that displays the transaction of the credit amount used for advertiser's running campaign.
