Overview:
Trackier’s targeting feature enables users to create precise traffic control rules by allowing or denying traffic based on multiple parameters such as browser, city, region, device type, operating system, source, and more.
These targeting rules can be set up at the advertiser level, allowing centralised traffic control for all associated campaigns while helping improve traffic quality and campaign performance.

Improve conversion rates by filtering traffic according to desired specifications.
Apply traffic restrictions at different stages such as clicks, conversions, or goals.
Steps to set advertiser-level targeting
Open any advertiser account from the Advertiser Manage Page and select the edit button in the settings section of the advertiser's page.
In settings, you can easily create a new targeting rule by simply clicking on "Targeting" and then selecting "+ New Targeting Block."
You can create highly specific rules for targeting a campaign to your preferred audiences.
In Trackier, you’ll find common targeting rules, such as browser type, device brand, and operating system.
A rule block contains many rules with some logic, like allowing users from a particular country, blocking desktop traffic, etc.
Variable: Defines the parameter on which targeting will be applied.
Examples – You can set targeting based on source / browser / OS / device / brand country / city, etc.
Logic: Determines how the targeting rule behaves.
Allow - Traffic matching the targeting condition will be accepted.
Deny - Traffic matching the targeting condition will be blocked.
Rule Block Name: A custom name used to identify the targeting block easily.
Example: source-targeting
Specific Publishers: Includes only selected publishers/sources.
Useful when campaigns should run only with trusted traffic partners.
Exclude Publishers: Blocks selected publishers/sources from receiving traffic. Helps eliminate poor-quality or fraudulent traffic.
Condition: Can be set as 'matches' (default) or 'exact match' or 'empty' depending on the selected variable and targeting setup.
Variable: You can use any variable on which you can set targeting to create the required targeting rule.
Value: Represents the selected value of the targeting variable.
Advanced Option:
The Advanced Option section allows users to define the event type on which the targeting rule should apply. This provides more granular control over campaign optimisation and traffic filtering.
Event: The selected event type determines where the targeting condition will be enforced. This enables more specific and performance-focused targeting strategies.
Event options can be selected:
All: The targeting rule applies to all event types, which include clicks, conversions, and goals.
Click Only: The rule applies only to click events.
Conversion + Goal: The rule applies to both conversion and goal events.
Conversion Only: The targeting rule affects only conversion events.
Goal Only: The rule applies exclusively to goal events.
Rule Block Condition: This defines how multiple conditions inside the block behave.
AND - All conditions must be true for the rule to apply.
OR - Any one condition being true will trigger the rule.
Tips:
Prefer Allow Logic when working with trusted publisher lists.
Use deny logic to quickly block suspicious or underperforming traffic sources.
Keep rule structures simple to avoid conflicts and unexpected behavior.
Track click/conversion quality after applying new targeting rules.
