At a Glance: This is the guide to help you understand how and when to use the postback settings in a campaign.
Postback settings help you control which postback should be fired to the publisher and which should not.
For example, if you are running a CPI offer with two events, Install and Transaction, but only want to pay out for the Transaction event and not the Install event, you have the option to block the Install postback at the campaign level to prevent it from being sent to the publisher.
How to access it?
In order to access postback settings, navigate to a specific campaign’s settings and select Postback Settings.
How does it work?
By default, every publisher will get the postback for conversion and the public goal if you have added the publisher postback correctly.
If you add any publisher in the "BLOCK PUBLISHER" column, corresponding to the goal name, then apart from that publisher, everyone will get the postback.
If you add any publisher in the "ALLOW PUBLISHER" column, corresponding to the goal name, then only that publisher will get postback and the others will not.
Note: You should either whitelist publishers on a goal or blacklist them. Do not use both, as the rule will be invalid.
