This guide will help you to add various traffic channels in your Trackier panel, allowing publishers to send traffic while ensuring proper tracking.

Updated this week

Overview

The promotion of a campaign can be done from any source of traffic. It's important to target the right audience through the right channel for your campaign.

Now, segregating your campaigns based on the traffic channels is possible on Trackier. Let your publisher see and choose the campaigns based on the right channels allowed for your campaigns. To add and assign channels for your campaigns, follow the below steps.

We have divided this into two use cases; you can check which suits you best according to your requirements.

  • It is easier for publishers to pick the right campaigns based on traffic channels.

  • Easily showcase the kind of traffic from specific channels that you need for your campaigns.

What Are Allowed Traffic Channels?

Allowed Traffic Channels are labels you define in Trackier that indicate which promotional channels are permitted for a given campaign.

Once assigned to a campaign, these labels are visible to publishers in their interface, helping them quickly identify whether a campaign is compatible with the traffic they send.

Examples of traffic channels:

  • Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

  • Email Marketing

  • Native Ads

  • SMS

How to add?

Create a Traffic Channel

Before assigning a traffic channel to a campaign, you need to create it in your panel.

  2. Select Add Traffic Channel

  3. Click the Actions button

Why Use Allowed Traffic Channels?

  • Help publishers instantly identify which campaigns match their traffic type

  • Reduce mismatched traffic by clearly communicating channel restrictions upfront

  • Improve campaign performance by attracting the right publishers for each offer

  • Keep your advertiser commitments intact by controlling which traffic sources are used

Important: Traffic channels in Trackier are informational labels they are visible to publishers as guidance but do not technically block traffic from other sources. To enforce hard traffic restrictions, use Campaign Targeting rules instead.

Conclusion

Allowed Traffic Channels are a simple but effective way to align publisher expectations with advertiser requirements from the start. By clearly labeling which channels are permitted for each campaign, you reduce the likelihood of mismatched traffic, improve publisher experience, and maintain the quality standards your advertisers expect.
