Overview
Trackier provides the benefit of white-labeling links other than the tracking link when necessary. You can now modify the login page domain, the postback domain, and the API domain. The default link structure will be different for each of the three domains.
Let us go over them individually.
Steps to Follow
Below are the steps to white-label login and postback domains.
Step 1: Get a domain from your domain provider
The first step is to get a domain from any domain provider of your choice. After you have purchased a domain, you can go through the below process.
Step 2: Cname setup
Login to your domain provider and go to the DNS settings to implement the further changes.
Note: You can find DNS settings in every domain provider like Godaddy, Namecheap, etc. You just need to make sure to update the DNS where your nameserver is pointed to.
Copy the CNAME value from the panel by navigating to the Customize section, then select the Domain option. From there, access the Login/Postback/API option. The points where you can find the CNAME value for your Login, Postback, and API links are shown in the image below.
Add a CNAME record in the DNS settings of the domain provider from which you purchased it.
Type | Host | Points to | Custom Domain |
Login page | trk | demo.trackier.com | trk.mydomain.com |
Postback | abc | demo.trackier.co | abc.mydomain.com |
API | xyz | api.trackier.com | xyz.mydomain.com |
Example of Godaddy DNS Setting:
Type: Select CNAME
Host: you can use any value; it will act as a subdomain to your main domain like trk, xyz, tracking, etc.
Point to: Here you need to add the CNAME value you get from the Trackier platform.
TTL: In what time the record gets appended, you can use 1 Hour.
To check if the DNS record is appended correctly, go to DNS record check and if you get Check in all regions, you can move on to the next step.
Note:
Step 3: SSL certificate
SSL will be automatically provided if the domain is purchased through Cloudflare.
You can request an SSL on the new tracking domain from Trackier Support.
Step 4: Make changes in the panel
If you want to add a custom login box, you can enable the button and add the login URL.
Request SSL and domain custom settings
Request for SSL on the new tracking domain on Trackier Support.
Add the new custom tracking domain in Trackier by using your custom domain in the given space and hitting the save button at the bottom.
Why Use a Whitelabel Domain?
Whitelabeling your login and postback domains allows you to give partners, advertisers, and publishers a more professional experience. Instead of seeing a Trackier domain, they interact with a domain that reflects your brand. This creates trust, consistency, and reduces confusion for users who may not be familiar with third-party platforms.
Another advantage of using whitelabel domains is control. You can decide how your login, postback, and API links appear, ensuring that all communication with your users happens under a single branded environment. This makes it easier to maintain brand credibility and simplifies support since users only need to remember one domain.
Best Practices for DNS Configuration
When setting up CNAME records with your domain provider, make sure you:
Double-check that the host values (trk, abc, xyz) are unique and do not conflict with existing records.
Allow sufficient time for DNS propagation. While most changes happen within an hour, in some cases it may take up to 24–48 hours.
Confirm that your SSL is properly applied after the records are active. A missing or expired SSL can lead to browser security warnings.
Keep a record of all DNS changes made, so they can be reviewed later if issues arise.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
If your whitelabel domain is not resolving correctly, the most common reasons are:
The DNS record has not propagated fully.
The CNAME record was added at the wrong domain level.
The host field was entered incorrectly, resulting in a mismatch.
SSL was not requested or has not yet been applied.
In such cases, review your DNS settings carefully and, if needed, use a DNS checker tool to confirm whether the records are live. If issues persist, contact Trackier Support for assistance.
