Overview
Once you've added the custom domain to your panel, you're only one click away from using that domain for your company. You can add multiple tracking domains and use any of them, depending on your needs. To learn how to add more tracking domains, click here.
Prerequisite: Before changing the tracking domain on a campaign, you must first add the custom domain to your panel. Refer to the White-label and Customize Your Tracking Domain guide to complete this step.
Method 1: Changing the Tracking Domain for a Standard Campaign
Use this method when your campaign uses a standard tracking link (not pixel-based).
Log in to your Trackier panel and open the campaign you want to update
Navigate to the Tracking Link section on the Campaign Info page
Locate the Change Tracking Domain checkbox below the generated tracking link field
Check the box to reveal the domain selector
Select your preferred domain from the dropdown (all custom domains added to your panel will appear here)
Click Update, the tracking link in the generated link field will automatically update to reflect the new domain
The updated link is now ready to share with your publisher.
Method 2: Changing the Tracking Domain for a Pixel-Based Campaign
Use this method when your campaign uses pixel-based conversion tracking instead of a standard tracking link.
Log in to your Trackier panel and open the campaign you want to update
Go to Campaign Settings → Basic Settings
Locate the Conversion Tracking Domain field
Select your preferred domain from the dropdown
Save your changes
The selected domain will now be used for all pixel-based conversion tracking on this campaign
Setting a Default Tracking Domain
If you want all new campaigns to automatically use a specific custom domain —without having to change it manually each time you can set a default tracking domain in your panel settings.
Once a default domain is set, it will be reflected in all new campaigns created after that point, and will also be visible to publishers when they generate tracking links from their interface.
Note: Setting a default domain only affects campaigns created after the change. Existing campaigns will need to be updated manually using Method 1 or Method 2 above.
Note: Once you have added a personal tracking domain and set it as the default tracking domain, it will be visible to you and your publishers in any new campaigns that are created after the tracking domain has been added.
Why Change the Tracking Domain?
Use a branded domain that reflects your company rather than Trackier's default domain
Assign different domains to different campaigns for better organization
Ensure publishers see your brand in every tracking link they use
Set a default domain so all new campaigns automatically use your custom domain
Conclusion
Switching the tracking domain on a campaign in Trackier is a quick, non-disruptive process.
Whether you are using a standard tracking link or a pixel-based setup, you can update the domain in just a few clicks ensuring your brand stays consistent across all publisher-facing links and conversion tracking calls.
