mFilterIt Anti-Fraud Tool Integration (Web)

What is mFilterIt?

mFilterIt is a fraud detection and marketing analytics platform that specialises in:

  • Click fraud detection

  • Bot traffic identification

  • Invalid traffic filtering

  • Ad fraud prevention across web and mobile campaigns

  • Real-time traffic quality scoring

mFilterIt works like a traffic quality checker that analyses every click and identifies suspicious or fraudulent activity before it impacts your campaigns.

Prerequisites

Before starting the integration, make sure you have:

  • An active mFilterIt account & a Trackier account with permission to configure integrations.

  • The mFilter URL & the package name from your mFilterIt dashboard.

  • A campaign created on your Trackier account.

Important:

While creating the campaign, make sure to append the following UTM parameters to the URL provided by the advertiser:

utm_campaign=trackier_{camp_id}&click_id={click_id}

This ensures that the required campaign and click tracking information is passed correctly to mFilterIt.

Integration Steps

Step 1: Open the Integration

Go to 'Automation' and select 'Anti-Fraud Tools', search for mFilterIt, and click on Config.

Note: Two mFilterIt integrations are displayed. One is for app campaigns, and the other is for web campaigns.

Please select the Web integration, which is highlighted with a red border in the image below.

Step 2: Configure the Settings

Fill in the required details:

  • mFilter URL: Enter the URL provided by mFilterIt.

  • Package Name: Enter the package name from the mFilterIt panel.

  • Lead ID: Map your conversion ID, click ID, or transaction ID.

  • Whitelist Publishers: Allow specific publishers (all are allowed by default).

  • Blacklist Publishers: Block selected publishers.

  • Whitelist Campaigns: Allow specific campaigns (all are allowed by default).

  • Blacklist Campaigns: Block selected campaigns.

  • Status: Choose Active or Paused to determine the status of this integration.

After saving the configuration, click Go to activate the integration.

Check Postback Logs

Click Postback Logs at the bottom of the page to view all fraud-check results processed by mFilterIt. Review the postback logs regularly to monitor fraud detection and troubleshoot any issues.

Quick Reminders

  • Ensure the mFilter URL and Package Name are entered exactly as provided by mFilterIt.

  • By default, all publishers and campaigns are whitelisted unless you specify otherwise.

  • You can pause the integration at any time by changing the status to Paused.

  • Please ensure that all fields are correctly filled and mapped before running to avoid any issues during the integration process.
