The Trackier Debug Postback Guide helps clients troubleshoot advertiser postback issues and verify whether conversions are being sent correctly to Trackier.
Debug Postback is useful for identifying:
Missing or incorrect click IDs
Invalid security tokens
Incorrect postback implementation
Conversion rejection errors
Duplicate conversion issues
This helps ensure accurate conversion tracking and reporting.
Why Debug Postback is Important
Sometimes advertisers may report conversions on their side, but those conversions do not appear in Trackier.
Using Debug Postback helps clients:
Verify whether the advertiser is firing the postback correctly
Identify technical errors quickly
Troubleshoot missing conversions
Improve tracking accuracy
Reduce reporting discrepancies
Without proper debugging, conversion attribution, and publisher payouts may be impacted.
You can review details about each postback that was received from the advertiser's end in the debug postback. This allows you to verify whether or not the advertiser is placing the postback correctly and whether or not you are receiving all of the conversions from them.
There are multiple ways you can check "Debug Postback."
Checking Debug: Through the panel
Go to "Advertiser" on the left panel and click on "Postback Hits Received."
Checking Debug: Through a specific advertiser
If you want to check the "Debug Postback" option for any specific advertiser, then please follow these steps:
Go to the specific "Advertiser" and click on "Debug Postback."
Checking Debug: Through Profile
You can also follow these steps:
Go to your Profile and Click on "Debug Postback."
Common Errors Found in Debug Postback
INVALID_CLICK_ID
Occurs when the advertiser sends an incorrect or missing click ID.
INVALID_SECURITY_TOKEN
Occurs when the security token in the postback is invalid or missing.
DUPLICATE_CLICK_ID
Occurs when multiple conversions are fired using the same click ID without allowing duplicate conversions.
SUCCESS / OK
Indicates that the postback was received successfully and the conversion was recorded properly.
