At a glance: This article helps you troubleshoot the situation wherein the postbacks are not fired to the publishers but are recorded as conversions on your panel. |
If your conversion is recorded at your end and that conversion is not sent to the publisher, there are certain steps you could follow to troubleshoot the issue
Step 1 : Check from Postback/Pixel
Go to postback/pixel from the left navigation bar
Search the publisher from the Advance Filter
View the publisher's postback
Here you need to check the placement of the macro in the publisher transactionid/clickid macro.
β
The most important macro to place in the publisher's postback is {p1}. This is the parameter in which we receive the click ID from the publisher; hence, the same needs to be passed in the postback to send back the click IDs. In publisher's transactionid/clickid parameter, pass the macro {p1}

Step 2 : Check from Postback Logs
Go to postback/pixel from the left navigation bar
Search the publisher from the Advance Filter
From the Action tab, open "Postback Sent Logs"
Here you can check the postback logs, filter out the report, and check multiple options with "Server Message."
β
β
On the basis of the server message, you can take action, make the necessary changes in the publisher postback, and check the placement macros in the postback.
If the server status is 200 and still the postbacks are not received at the publisher's end, there is a possibility that the publisher's server is not accepting those conversions and hence needs to be checked at their end. |
For validation of fired postbacks with the publisher, you could export the publisher postback logs in the CSV file and cross-check with the publisher's server.
