Adding Publisher Privacy Postback for an iOS 14 Campaign

This guide will help you set up and include your publisher's privacy postback for an iOS 14 campaign, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.

Overview

You can add your publisher's privacy postback in the Trackier panel to push the conversion to them.

For this, you need to ask your publisher to send their campaign ID and source ID to you via tracking URL.

What is Publisher Privacy Postback (iOS 14) in Trackier?

Publisher Privacy Postback in Trackier is a mechanism used to send conversion data to publishers in iOS 14 campaigns without relying on click IDs, due to Apple’s privacy restrictions.

Instead of user-level identifiers, it uses:

  • Campaign ID

  • Publisher campaign ID

  • Sub source ID

This ensures attribution still works under iOS 14 privacy limitations (ATT / SKAdNetwork environment).

Macro

Description

{pub_camp_id}

Why this setup matters

Without this:

  • privacy compliance is maintained

  • publisher reporting continues correctly

In simple terms:

It ensures publishers still receive accurate conversion credit even when Apple’s privacy rules block traditional tracking methods.
