Easily Manage and Customize Payout Templates in Trackier

This article will guide you through the steps to add, edit, and manage publisher payout templates in Trackier for better control and efficiency.

Overview

With this feature, you can now create Payout Templates for segregating the publisher's payment options depending on the performance of a specific event, geo-coverage, etc.

What are Payout Templates?

A Payout Template is a pre-configured payout rule that defines how publishers should be paid based on specific conditions — such as the type of conversion event, the country the conversion came from, or other custom variable values.

Templates can be applied to multiple publishers at once, saving time and ensuring consistency across your payout structure.

Why Use Payout Templates?

  • Standardize publisher payouts across events and geographies without manual configuration each time

  • Apply consistent payout rules to multiple publishers simultaneously

  • Reduce manual errors in payout setup by reusing validated templates

  • Set geo-specific or event-specific payout rules that apply automatically

  • Maintain flexibility — templates can be updated centrally and applied across the network

Payout Template Configuration Fields

Field

Description

Template Name

Enter a name for the payout template — this is how it will be identified on the Payout Templates page

Template Description

Add a brief description of what this template covers — useful for identifying its purpose at a glance

Publishers

Select the publishers this template should apply to

Goal

Select a specific goal or conversion event this template applies to — leave blank to apply to the default goal

Coverage

Select the countries in which this payout template is valid — useful for geo-specific payout rules

Additional Filter — Variable

Select a specific variable (such as a source, sub-ID, or custom parameter) to add a more granular condition to the template

Additional Filter — Allowed Values

Enter the specific values for the variable selected above — only conversions matching these values will qualify for this payout template

Note: The Additional Filter fields allow you to add precision to your payout rules by restricting them to specific variable values. For example, you could create a template that only applies when the source parameter contains a specific value, ensuring only qualifying traffic from that source receives the defined payout.

Managing Existing Templates

All created payout templates are listed on the Payout Templates page. From here you can:

  • Edit a template to update its conditions or publisher assignments

  • Delete a template that is no longer needed

  • View all templates to audit your current payout structure

Changes made to a template are applied to all publishers and campaigns it is assigned to — making it easy to update payout conditions centrally without touching each publisher individually.

Conclusion

Creating and managing payout templates in Trackier allows you to simplify and standardize publisher payments while maintaining flexibility for events, geographies, or performance rules. By using this feature, you can save time, reduce manual errors, and ensure consistency across multiple campaigns. With templates in place, you can efficiently manage payouts for different publishers, giving you more control and accuracy over your network’s financial operations.
