Trackier Guide: Managing Allowed and Denied Publishers

This guide explains how to set up campaigns exclusively for specific publishers in Trackier, ensuring quality traffic and accurate performance measurement.

Updated this week

Overview

For private campaigns, you have full control over which publishers can view and promote your campaigns. This allows you to maintain quality, target specific partners, and protect campaign performance.

To manage access, navigate to the Campaign Description Page and locate the “Publisher Access” section.

Understanding Publisher Access

Publisher access determines who can:

  • View the campaign

  • Generate tracking links

  • Run and promote the campaign

When a campaign is set to Private, only explicitly approved publishers can access it.

Allowing Publishers

When the campaign visibility is set to private, you have to provide campaign access specifically to the publisher by adding them to the list of 'Approved' publishers.

To grant access to specific publishers:

  1. Go to the Campaign Description Page

  2. Locate the Publisher Access section

  3. Add publishers to the Approved Publishers list

  4. Save your changes

What Happens Next?

  • The selected publishers can now view and run the campaign

  • They can generate tracking links and start sending traffic

  • Campaign visibility is restricted only to approved publishers

Blocking Publishers

If you need to restrict access for certain publishers:

  1. Go to the Campaign Settings Page

  2. Find the Blocked Publishers section

  3. Add the publisher(s) you want to block

  4. Save the changes

Key Points:

  • Blocked publishers will immediately lose access to the campaign

  • Blocking a publisher affects future activity only

  • Previously attributed conversions (before blocking) remain unaffected

  • Always double-check the publisher list before making updates

What Happens After Blocking a Publisher?

Once a publisher is blocked or removed:

  • They can no longer view or access the campaign

  • They cannot run or promote the campaign

  • Postbacks will not be sent for any activity after they are blocked

  • Any new traffic from the blocked publisher will not be tracked or attributed

Conclusion

Managing publisher access is essential for maintaining campaign quality and control. By carefully approving and blocking publishers, you can ensure that only the most relevant and high-performing partners contribute to your campaign success.

You can allow or deny publishers according to your requirements for private campaigns. All you need to do is go to the camping description page and search for the card 'Publisher Access'.
