Advertiser Server Postback Integration

Updated this week

At a Glance: Postback Integration is necessary to record the conversations on our Trackier's platform from the advertiser's end. To do the same, we need to share the server postback URL by adding the correct Macros and parameters on the Trackier's panel.

Overview

Advertiser Server Postback Integration is a crucial component of performance marketing and conversion tracking. It involves sending conversion data from the advertiser’s server to Trackier once a specific user action is completed, such as a lead, registration, or purchase. This server-to-server communication ensures accurate, real-time tracking without relying on browser-based methods, making it more reliable and secure for attribution.

Note:

  • You have the opportunity to track the conversions through either global-level postback or advertiser-level postback. Both levels have their own uses.

  • Global-level postback is mostly used with the integration of mobile marketing tools.

  • Advertiser-level postback is generally recommended by our tech experts to use in other instances.

Where to find the Advertiser Postback?

An advertiser-level postback can be fetched from two places in the platform.

First Method: Using the Advertiser Manage Section

Testing And Troubleshooting Postback

  • Share the Default and Event Postback With advertisers, make sure they replace the needed macro with their own macro.

  • Share the test link with the advertiser so that they can do a system post-back test.

  • Check the logs to determine if there was a successful conversion from the advertiser's end.

  • If you don't get a conversion, check the postback hit received from advertisers to check the error.
