Overview
Traffic Split Across Landing Pages allows you to distribute traffic between multiple landing pages to identify which page performs best. This helps optimize user experience, improve conversion rates, and maximize campaign performance through data-driven testing.
Using this feature, you can run A/B tests by sending controlled percentages of traffic to different landing pages and comparing their performance across conversions, engagement, and ROI.
This guide covers:
How to configure traffic distribution across landing pages.
How to perform A/B testing using traffic split rules.
How to analyze landing page performance using reports.
Best practices and restrictions for accurate traffic split testing.
Why is Traffic Splitting Important?
The Traffic Split feature helps you:
Identify high-converting landing pages
Improve campaign optimization
Increase conversion rates
Reduce bounce rates
Enhance user experience
Make data-driven decisions instead of assumptions
Example Use Cases
Example 1: A/B Testing CTA Buttons
Suppose you have two landing pages for the same campaign:
Landing Page A: “Sign Up Now”
Landing Page B: “Get Started Free”
You can split traffic:
50% to Landing Page A
50% to Landing Page B
After analyzing conversion reports, you may discover that Landing Page B converts 25% better. You can then redirect more traffic to the better-performing page.
Note: You can do A/B testing with landing pages in this rule and check which works best for you. First, you need to add the landing page to the particular campaign, then set the rule. This feature is available in the Trackier enterprise plan.
Setting Up Split Rule
You can find this feature in the campaign settings.
To enable the rule, check the box that says “Enable Traffic Split Across Landing Pages”.
All the active landing pages you add in the campaign landing page section will be visible here.
Set the percentage of traffic you need on the particular landing page.
Set 0 as a percentage if you want to exclude it from the rule.
Note:
The limit for adding landing pages to the campaign is up to 2000.
The limit for the traffic split option for landing pages is 100.
Important note:
All landing pages must be added to the campaign first.
Only active landing pages will appear in the split configuration section.
Restrictions for traffic split usage
No landing page targeting should be added (for example, Country, city or region)
No landing or random landing page/pre-lander should be specified in the publisher tracking link.
Landing Page Performance Report
To access the report, from the right menu, go to Campaign Report and select the landing page filter.
Select the landing page from the 'Group by' filter and search, and then you can check all the information related to that landing page.
